Diane Brown has lived in College Station for a good part of her life. When moving to the area over 20 years ago, her and her husband had a three year old and a five year old. Now their children are 23 and 25 years old and they have seen a lot of changes to the Bryan/College Station area. They love this community and are proud to call Aggieland their home.
As the Volunteer Corordinator, Diane has the unique opportunity to help those in our community, whether students at the local schools and university, congregations at the different churches or newcombers, to see where they fit in as a valuable piece of APO. By volunteering with APO and working with Diane, many families with new babies and women experiencing unplanned pregnancies can be helped when it is most needed. Diane is thrilled to receive a phone call asking, "Where can I help?" and enjoys finding the area where the volunteer can help when needed.
Diane is a Christian and attends Grace Bible Church at the Anderson location. She has experience working in the school system with high school age kids and continues to enjoy facilitating studies through her church. Diane also enjoys hiking through Texas parks and seeing all that South Texas nature has to offer.
Diane has been married to her husband, Randy for 28 years. She has know him since she was 6 months old. They first met in an Amarillo church nursery as infants. Her children, Isaac and Jessica still in the area as well. They have also welcomed a son-in-law into their family when Jessica married Zach Tullos.
