I have lived in College Station for a good part of my life. Randy, my husband, and I moved with a three year old and a five year old to this area over 20 years ago. Now our children are grown and we have seen a lot of changes to the Bryan/College Station area. We love Aggieland and are blessed to call this community home.
Randy and I first met when we were babies in the church nursery in Amarillo. We grew up together and have been married for over 30 years. My children, Isaac and Jessica, are grown now and still live in the area as well. Jessica is married to Zach Tullos and I am so glad to have him in our family.
I am a Christian and attend Grace Bible Church. I have previously worked in the school system with high school age kids and now enjoy connecting with teens during our Mama Club program. My hobbies include hiking and reading. God’s creation continues to bless me as I hike through parks all over the United States!
As the Volunteer Coordinator, I have the unique opportunity to help those in our community, whether students at the local schools and university, congregations at the different churches or newcomers, to see where they fit in as a valuable piece of APO. I love to receive a phone call asking, “Where can I help?” I get much enjoyment in finding the areas where a volunteer can help most. Volunteers are an integral part of our organization – We couldn’t do all we do without them!!
